About
A special TEDxAthens event featuring 9 finalist speakers, each sharing an idea worth spreading — ideas designed to spark curiosity, ignite imagination, and inspire action. The event was part of a worldwide initiative led by TED in partnership with nine selected TEDx communities across the globe. TEDxAthens hosted the local edition where the 9 finalists chosen for the strength, originality, and potential of their idea — presented their talks live in Athens. From that group, one speaker was selected by the TED team to take the stage at TED 2026 in Vancouver, joining the lineup at TED's flagship global conference.
